Justin Bieber New Home: Atlanta Doesn't Want JB; Protests 'He's Bad For Our Kids'
Atlanta residents aren't too happy with reports that Justin Beiber may soon become their new neighbor.
Justin Beiber is currently renting a house from Dallas Austin and TMZ reports that residents of the upscale Buckhead community are not thrilled with the bad-boy's new location and have scheduled a protest on Monday morning.
Beiber, Selena Gomez' ex-boyfriend, has been reported to be looking for a more permanent place to stay and looking at buying a 16,000 sq. ft. mansion on Blackland Road located in the ritzy Buckhead district.
Harold White, a long-time resident of the affluent neighborhood worries about the unwanted attention the community will get when the Believe singer moves into the community. He has organized a protest with the Buckhead Neighborhood Coalition scheduled for 6 AM ET with over 200 people saying they'll be present, says CNN.
"We're concerned he'll bring the wrong type of element into a quiet, residential area," said White. "It is our position that a person with his means could certainly find a neighborhood more suited to his "eclectic" lifestyle.
His wife has started a Facebook page to organize the protest with a statement:
"As a community here in Buckhead, we have worked hard to achieve our goals and get to where we are. Justin Bieber's relocation to Atlanta can be nothing but bad for our children, as well as the community. Some can't even let their children play in the driveway without fear; he has raced vehicles under the influence, before. What's to say he won't do it again? As a home owner down the street from this residence, one can assume many people will be contacting real estate agents soon enough.
Please do not allow a child to ruin what we have worked so hard to obtain.
Thanks for the support!"
Residents are referring to the legal troubles that the 19-year-old Canadian singer presently facing for egging of a neighbor's house in Calabasas, CA and a Miami arrest where he was reportedly speeding while under the influence.
