The latest version of Apple's mobile operating system is iOS 8.4.1. The jailbreak community has been patiently waiting for a jailbreak solution for iOS 8.4.1, and it looks like it is coming real soon, Gotta Be Mobile reports.

When Apple updated iOS 8.4 to iOS 8.4.1 it was able to fix the holes that the TaiG jailbreak team used to create their iOS 8.4 jailbreak. This meant that if anyone upgraded to iOS 8.4.1 and had the iOS 8.4 jailbreak, it was patched up.

Since iOS 8.4.1 was only a slight change from iOS 8.4, it was not a big deal to the jailbreak community to stay with iOS 8.4.

Another jailbreak team, Pangu, has since found a way to jailbreak iOS 8.4.1. Pangu also discovered the jailbreak to iOS 8 last year. Pangu was able to show off their jailbreak at a recent security conference.

The public might get their hands on an iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak after all. It was first thought that Pangu was only using their jailbreak solution to prove that it was possible to jailbreak iOS 8.4.1, and it did not seem like they planned to release it to the public. Now, with iOS 9 coming out real soon, the public could get their chance to jailbreak iOS 8.4.1.

Pangu has confirmed that they were able to jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 and announced it to the public on their website. With this announcement, it is possible that anyone will be able to use the jailbreak tool.

iOS 8.4.1 is the last update that Apple will perform before it releases the full version of iOS 9 to the public later this year. iOS 9 is expected to be the most secure mobile operating system from Apple yet, and developers and beta testers have been experimenting with it for months.

Do you think that Pangu will make their jailbreak tool available to the public? Leave us a comment below with your answer.
