Kim Richards is assuring fans she is sober and back on track.

The 50-year-old former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star recently took to Twitter to make her declaration as well as wish fans "a fun & safe Labor Day."

To say that the last several months have been a time of stress for Richards would be an understatement, since she was arrested for shoplifting and public intoxication on separate occasions. Most recently, she was taken into custody in California and required to post a $5,000 bail after being accused of attempting to steal $600 worth of merchandise from a local Target store.

But in her posts to social media, Richards insisted that is now all behind her and she is staying positive following a brief stint in a rehab treatment center.

"I missed you all," she added in her post. "Thank you for your love and support."

While her days on "Real Housewives" appear over, Richards may not be off the air for long or away from the world of reality TV. Recently reports have circulated that she has been offered a role in the cast of the show "Family Therapy with Dr. Jenn."

Rumors are Richards would join Dina and Michael Lohan as patients under the physician's care in hopes of working through their issues. Word is, Richards would already be in the role if she could get her family, including sister Kyle, behind the idea.

"Kim wasn't interested in the concept, or what she would be doing, but needed to earn a paycheck," said a source. "She approached her kids about the proposal, and asked them to reach out to Kyle, because they aren't talking."

Supposedly, both Kyle and Kim's children are opposed to the idea because they are convinced she should be spending more time working on getting completely healthy.

"The kids and Kyle all said no way," a source added. "It's not because they don't want to help Kim, but they felt she needed to go to rehab. If Kim had already successfully completed treatment, and was in a good place to begin truly working on relationships with the family, that would be a different story."
