Why did America ever make the 'Loser Keeps Bieber' bet? Thanks to the U.S. Men's Ice Hockey team's uninspired showing vs. Canda we have to host this kid for years to come. It's obviously all in jest of course, but still... American only lost to Canada 1-0 in the semifinal game, but it feels much, much worse, thanks. It wasn't a beauty that we were beat, that's for sure. 

Now that the Biebs is with us Americans for the long haul we might as well get to know the little rascal a tad better. What has the young lad been up to lately? He's channeling rapper Lil Romeo. How so? Basically, all Bieber is doing these days is romancing attractive women. Now you can blame Bieber for a lot, including the misappropriation of eggs, a lack of decorum, and trumped up drag racing charges, but you seriously can't angry be angry at him for getting his jiggy on, can you?

So who has the Usher protege been sneaking around with? Could it be that he's still cozying up to the aspiring fashion model slash body-to-die-for slash fellow Panamanian traveler, Chantel Jeffries? Woah, that was an exhausting list... but seriously, this girl has been everywhere, and I mean everywhere. But it turns out that Bieber and Jeffries parted ways. He's chilling with a Hooter's gal know with whom he'd previously been linked to.

Can you imagine being the Biebs? All these girls chasing you down because they're infected with a particularly aggressive case of "bieber fever?" I didn't think so. There is only one Bieber and he's a legend. Vanilla Ice would be proud of the young man.

Naturally more drama has swirled about the Canadian expat. He rejected his plea deal offered up by the Miami Prosector handling his DUI/Drag Racing/Resisting arrest affair.

Popular gossip site TMZ had this to say about the plea deal rejection:

"But the bigger issue is this -- our sources say Bieber will NOT accept any plea that has probation ... where the judge can throw the book at him if he screws up."

There you have it. Bieber doesn't accept plea deals, just like he doesn't accept losing his one true love, Selena Gomez.
