LeBron James knew how beneficial Space Jam was for Michael Jordan in terms of self-marketing, so what would King James do if he had the same opportunity?

Some reports have emerged this week about a potential sequel to the very popular 1996 film Space Jam, which featured Michael Jordan and a wide variety of Looney Tunes characters. Naturally, it would make sense if a sequel were to be made with the player that has taken Jordan's role as the most prominent star in the game: LeBron James.

Reporters asked LeBron about his interest in this or if there are any plans involved for a sequel, but he seems to know as much as we do. Some reports have indicated that the idea of a sequel might just be a false rumor and there have been some conflicting reports.

"It's news to me," LeBron said, according to the Palm Beach Post. "I haven't heard anything about it. Like I said, I've always loved Space Jam 1. It was one of my favorite movies growing up. If I have the opportunity, it'd be great. But that's news to me. Obviously I don't want to be on there with this thing on my nose," he said, referring to his broken nose that has sidelined him in games this week."

LeBron was then asked about whether or not he and his camp have been approached about the film.

"I haven't heard about it. Maybe they've got it in my office. I haven't been to my office in a while."

What do you think about the idea of LeBron starring in a Space Jam sequel? Do you think he would fit well in the role or would we expect too much to be like it was when Jordan was the main character? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
