Dallas is an American television drama which was developed by Cynthia Cidre. The production of this drama was done by Warner Horizon Television and the story is centered on the Ewings, who are a rich Dallas family who made their money in the oil and cattle-ranching industries. The latest season consists of 13 episodes and premiered on Monday, Feb. 24, 2014.

The series is made for TNT, which is the sister company to Warner Bros. Television. The regular cast of the series includes Josh Henderson, Jesse Metcalfe, Jordana Brewster, Brenda Strong, Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, the late Larry Hagman, Emma Bell, Mitch Pileggi, and Juan Pablo Di Pace. The first season of the series premiered on June 13, 2012 and the second season of Dallas premiered on Jan. 28, 2013. TNT eventually renewed the third season of Dallas on April 30, 2013.

The main focus of the storyline is on Christopher Ewing, who is the adopted son of Bobby and the late Pamela Barnes Ewing, the sister of rival oil baron, Cliff Barnes, and John Ross Ewing III, the son of the late J.R. and Sue Ellen Ewing. Everyone is curious about what is going to happen in the third season of the drama as the Ewing's family moves forward with the launch of Ewing Global after apparently defeating the old Cliff Barnes in the finale of the second season. More twists could be in place for the story, especially surrounding the lives of the four main characters of the story, John Ross, Pamela, Christopher and Elena.

According to the synopsis, "Season 3 kicks off with the Ewings on top, having vanquished Cliff Barnes (guest star Ken Kercheval) and taken over his company. The Ewings are united, with Sue Ellen planning a wedding for John Ross and Pamela. But solidarity among them can only last for so long. John Ross quickly gets into conflict with Bobby over their joint ownership of Southfork Ranch, while also putting his marriage at risk as he enters into an illicit liaison with Emma. Meanwhile, Christopher's relationship with Elena seems irreparable as Elena returns to Dallas with her own secret agenda for justice. As the betrayals mount, the arrival of a mysterious stranger puts everyone's plans at risk."
