"Terminator" star Arnold Schwarzenegger announced he's back on Monday, confirming that he's slated to take over for Donald Trump as the host of "The Celebrity Apprentice."

"I have always been a huge fan of 'The Celebrity Apprentice' and the way it showcases the challenges and triumphs of business and teamwork; I am thrilled to bring my experience to the boardroom and to continue to raise millions for charity," Radar Online reported Schwarzenegger said. "Let's get started!"

The 68-year-old former California governor was is slated to host the NBC-aired show throughout the 2016-17 season.

"We are thrilled to be opening a powerful new chapter in the story of the 'Apprentice' franchise," said network exec Paul Telegdy, branding Maria Shriver's longtime spouse "the epitome of a global brand in entertainment and business."

Executive producer Mark Burnett added the Austrian international star "will use his vast and highly successful business, political and media experience to drive this hit franchise to new heights."

"Wow. I'm blown away and honored by all your tweets," Schwarzenegger later posted to fans on Twitter. "I can't wait to bring my experience to the board room & raise millions for charity."

TMZ later reported the show is now planning to move from New York to California, where Schwarzenegger is based and resides. With Schwarzenegger expected to be able to attract even bigger name stars than those featured in the past, the show is also expected to undergo several major changes.

Sources also predict it will now be "a lot more fun partly because of the contestants and partly because of Arnold."

Word is execs are also angling to try to include Schwarzenegger's son Patrick as part of the mix. The 21-year-old already owns two Blaze Pizza shops, one at The Grove in L.A and the other near the campus of the University of Southern California.

NBC execs recently booted Trump from the show because of critical comments he made about Mexican immigrants that many deemed racist.
