Samantha Steffen had quite an experience on "Bachelor in Paradise" season 2. She and Joe Bailey had broken the rules by talking to each other before the show. She was accused of stabbing friend Juelia Kinney in the back by immediately going on a date with her beau, Bailey, once she arrived on the show.

"Watching this is heartbreaking #hindsights2020 #BachelorInParadise," Steffen tweeted on Aug. 16, after watching Kinney's tearful reaction to Bailey dumping her for Steffen on the show.

Steffen has said in interviews that she never meant to hurt Kinney, and she didn't realize until later how Bailey had treated her.

She redeemed herself by giving her rose to Dan Cox, which sent Bailey home. At that time, Nick Peterson was brought to Mexico as a "Bachelor in Paradise" season 2 contestant.

We now know that Steffen and Peterson spoke before going on the show as well, and there was a real love connection.

Fellow "Bachelor in Paradise" contestant Amber James called into "After Paradise" to drop a bombshell: Steffen and Peterson are still a couple.

"Her and Nick are amazing," James said. "She has gone on vacations, she's gone to visit him, she's met his family, he's met her family, they're doing amazing."

One look at their individual Instagram accounts provides further proof. The couple has posted photos hiking together, riding bicycles, meeting parents and more. Their relationship has grown stronger since leaving the show, despite predictions of an epic fail.

On Sept. 8, Peterson posted the "couple's selfie" below to his Instagram account. Notice the two lovebirds are both wearing white. It seems they are already coordinating outfits -- things are getting serious!

Peterson has also introduced Steffen to his mother and father, which shows that he is very serious about their relationship. Judging by the smiling faces of his parents in the Instagram photo below, it seems they approve of this "Bachelor in Paradise" romance.
