Apple Watch owners are very pleased with the features offered in the smartwatch, according to a recent a poll, CNET reports.

A poll from 451 Research shows that 54 percent of the 145 Apple Watch owners surveyed were "very satisfied" with their devices. Thirty-three percent of those surveyed said they were "somewhat satisfied," making a total of 87 percent of Apple Watch owners liking the smartwatch. Just 6 percent said they were "somewhat unsatisfied" and another 6 percent said they were "very unsatisfied."

451 Research conducted the survey between July 27 and Aug. 4 and tried to get a sense of how satisfied people were with the Apple Watch and the features they liked and disliked about it. The survey was also used to see Apple Watch's effect on similar products.

Only 145 people were surveyed in the study, but using the results to represent the total satisfaction of the Apple Watch, makes the device look good to the public. Apple wanted the Apple Watch to be used by a variety of different people and created three separate models. The entry-level Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Sport, is offered for $349, the mid-tier device is the Apple Watch for $549 and the ultra-luxe edition is the Apple Watch Edition for $10,000.

The Apple Watch has so far succeeded with its many features and is keeping it at the top of the list for preferred wearable devices.

"Our latest survey shows the Apple Watch is off to a great start, with high marks in satisfaction and a strong likelihood of recommending it to others," 451 Research survey research director Andy Golub said in a press release. "The wide range of features on the device and its frequent usage among owners pose a clear threat to health and fitness monitors and traditional watches."

Apple Watch owners said the feature that they most like about the smartwatch is the notifications that are sent to their wrists, with 49 percent of those surveyed listing this feature. Their next favorite feature, with 41 percent, was the health and fitness monitoring.

Apple Watch owners said that some of the downsides were battery life and its reliance on the iPhone to operate. Apple plans to address the reliance on the iPhone with an update to the WatchOS this week.
