News in Tinsel town is that Katy Perry and John Mayer have broken up... again.

According to E! News, the couple rumored to be engaged has called it quits in the last few days. They've exclusively revealed that the break up is due to the Prism singer's hectic schedule. With an upcoming World Tour, Perry has been preoccupied and putting work first.

Katy, 29, will be booked solid from May until November and has recently just added another left of her tour including Australia and New Zealand. On the other hand, John, 36, will also be on tour from April to June.

A source close to the couple revealed that they are "not sure how long it will last this time but yes, it is off for now," says Perezhilton.

Another insider has shared that the Prismatic world tour seems to be a sore topic with the pair and shares:

"She's stressed about the tour, they've been fighting. It is probably for the best, because she is going to be on tour for forever. Of course this happens all the time, I can't keep track anymore. But for now they are done."

A third source has added with their tours coinciding, there's been a strain on the relationship. "They've had rough patches, but this may be for good," a third source adds.

The couple has been dating since the summer of 2012 and has previously broken up before. After going public a few months in, the couple had a short break in March of 2013 and has seemed to be back on good terms. However, fans were excited with the recent engagement rumors that started on Valentine's when Katy stepped out with a certain ring on a certain finger.

The couple has released a song together titled, "Who You Love," and showcased the intimate music video just last December 17, 2013.
