It may have been "root, root, root for the home team" at a recent Fresno Grizzlies minor league baseball game, but one couple in attendance surely did not go home happy.

A new YouTube video that is located on the "burak öztürk" channel is quickly receiving quite a bit of attention since it was posted on May 9th. It depicts one couple's struggles with being on the Kiss Cam at a May 3rd Fresno Grizzlies game.

"At the Fresno Grizzlies game on May 3, 2013, we learn that not every relationship was meant to be put on the Jumbo-tron, but they all have a happy ending when Parker, the official mascot of the Fresno Grizzlies is there to help mend a broken heart," reads the video's description.

The trouble started when the Kiss Cam settled on an unidentified couple seated in a row by themselves, and the woman, who was heavier-set, attempted to get the attention of her rail-thin boyfriend while he was on the phone.

The boyfriend broke the cardinal rule of all relationships, and completely ignored his girlfriend while continuing to talk on the phone. The camera soon panned to other people in the crowd, but it wasn't long before it was decided that the couple, who seemed to be in their early 20's, should get a second chance at the Kiss Cam.

And the boyfriend ignored her yet again. At this point the woman was becoming visibly frustrated with the man, but he continued to talk on his phone and dismissively wave his hand at her. When the Kiss Cam gave him yet another shot at redemption, which he promptly ignored, the woman had had enough.

She proceeded to stand up and douse her boyfriend with her beverage and began to walk towards the exit. The Fresno Grizzlies' mascot soon came to her side and whisked her away while her boyfriend sat in his seat in utter disbelief.

The comments for the video range from laughter to stinging barbs, but the most echoed sentiment by far is belief that the whole interaction was face, and perhaps a stunt by the team to gain free publicity. The user "twomaro" offered up one compelling analysis of the video:

"Total FAKE! His goofy grin and the fact that he quickly hides his phone before getting splashed is proof enough. Add to that, she dowses him with water. Who drinks water at a ballgame?"
