Game developer Bungie took pains developing the beloved series Destiny, but with the recent launching of "Destiny: The Taken King," several reviews and comments about the game surfaced online, some commending the game for its excellent concept, others, not so much.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, game critics dubbed the game as "divisive, repetitive and grindy," as well as "one of the best looking and best playing shooters on the market." However, that didn't give the game the perfect score when it comes to reviews. Even the most fanatics of the game "Destiny: The Taken King" still found faults on the game itself.

First off, the "Destiny" series didn't actually have a sequel to follow. When Bungie announced the dual release of "Destiny," it was for "Year Two" (2.0) version and the recent "The Taken King" version, which were both a similar extension of "Destiny." The only difference is the individual description of update on the shooter for the (2.0) version and a rather significant overall expansion for "Destiny" on "The Taken King" version.

"The Taken King" version tackles major updates on the game and not just one portion of it. From the game's concept to the shooter's guide, everything was developed solely for the player.

Forbes, on the other hand, initiated their own poll for the "Destiny: The Taken King" and the results were rather clear. Fans who were satisfied with the game projected the most percentage on the poll whereas those who think it's a major game but needs some improvement only reached twenty-two percent. The rest were quite satisfied with the whole game, and, surprisingly, no one thinks of it as a failure.

When previous versions of "Destiny" were mentioned and asked how they fared on the last expansion, one hundred percent of those who participated in the poll agreed that "Destiny: The Taken King" is by far the best expansion yet.

A year ago, when Destiny made its debut, it didn't actually made an impact as several gamers always found something to comment on during the trial period. This time, however, "The Taken King" expansion blew fans' expectations and held a rather high rank on gamers' reviews.

The previous negative notion was due to the game's slow expansion, but this time around and with the massive development of "The Taken King" expansion, Destiny is getting significant attention from gamers nationwide.
