Google is poised to showcase the two new Nexus devices later this month. But until then, information about the LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P have been unceremoniously leaked from left to right in the past few weeks. The latest of which centers around the upcoming Huawei-manufactured Nexus.

According to sources from Android Police, the Huawei Nexus 6P phablet will be available in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB variants.

If sources are correct, the upcoming Huawei-manufactured Nexus will be the first Google-commissioned device to house such a high storage capacity. With 128 GB in tow, it's hard to imagine the device having the need for micro-SD expansion support.

In hindsight, the current generation Motorola Nexus 6 only has 32GB and 64GB variants. Both have no support for expandable storage.

The three storage variants of the Huawei Nexus 6P is said to cost $50 to $100 more at each increment.

To recall, My Drivers was the first to report about the Huawei Nexus 6P. The device, codenamed "Huawei Angler," was discovered in the GeekBench database two weeks ago.

The benchmark listing showed the prototype powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 810 processor while having 3GB of RAM. It was also shown running on the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

It can be remembered that the Nexus devices from Google are considered to be the elite in Android technology. The devices carry the latest Android OS versions upon their release. They also do not have unnecessary apps or bloatware from mobile carriers or other Android-based device manufacturers.

Going back to the Huawei Nexus 6P, Android Headlines previously reported that the device will come with a 5.5-inch QHD 2560 x 1440 display. However, there are rumors suggesting that its final build will extend to 5.7 inches.

The upcoming Huawei-manufactured Nexus is said to be equipped with a 21-megapixel rear camera, fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port. The device will most definitely have a front-facing shooter, but information about the feature have been scarce.

Aside from the aforementioned price disparity between each of its storage variants, price details of the upcoming Huawei Nexus 6P's have yet to be reported.

If it is any indication, the LG Nexus 5X will reportedly start at $400. It is safe to say that the larger Nexus 6P will cost more than that and will likely be priced similarly to the Motorola Nexus 6 from last year.

Google will unveil Huawei's first Nexus device along with the LG Nexus 5X on Sept. 29 at a press event in San Francisco.
