World Boxing Organization welterweight champion Timothy Bradley is out to prove he's not "damaged goods," especially to his next opponent, former title holder "Bam Bam" Brandon Rios when they meet on Nov.7 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The 32-year-old boxer felt that "Bam Bam" thinks he can easily be put down, but Bradley is confident of his skills, Boxing Scene reported.

"He feels that since I got hurt with Jessie Vargas, he feels if he lands a big shot on me that I'll get hurt and he'll be able to finish me. They think that I'm pretty much damaged goods and everybody feels that...I'm not the same guy. We'll see," Bradley said.

In June, Bradley came out of a victory via a unanimous decision against Jessie Vargas at the StubHub Center in California, per BoxRec. Fight News noted that Bradley was "badly hurt" during the last seconds of that fight, but the referee stopped it with six seconds still on the clock. It reportedly created confusion for both camps. Vargas even thought he won as he was the one dominating Bradley in those final moments.

Still, that "controversial" finish was not a concern for Rios.

"He had ten seconds left, Vargas hit him and hurt him. He waited too long and kept missing, than Bradley grabbed him. Everybody is saying it's controversial but at the end of the day it don't bother me. Vargas waited too late and let Bradley box," Rios said.

Although Rios knew Bradley was hurt that time, he commended him for being a good fighter, that's why "Bam Bam" is excited on their upcoming showdown because Bradley is "a warrior and is going to come out and fight" him.

Still, the WBO champ seems to take his goal seriously because he managed to make his message across when the two boxers met during a fight face-off.

Rios described to EsNewsReporting what he saw in Bradley's eyes during their recent face-off. The Texas-born boxer said he was "terrified" with Bradley's "eyeballs" and stated that he didn't know why the WBO champ has a "bad vibe" with him considering that he "never even talked to him."

Yet, Rios may not actually be really scared of Bradley, or even if he was, he would not let this fear or discomfort get in the way of his own objective.

Rios, who came out of a third round stoppage victory in January against Mike Alvarado, per BoxRec, felt he had a very long break after having no fight in eight months. He stated that he "needed a good win," noted Fight News.
