The hotly anticipated date of Microsoft's launch is approaching and the buzz is growing for the long list of new devices that's reportedly part of the roster. Leaks from various sources reveal more details about the tablets, mobiles and other new gadgets from the tech giant.

A leak from Ecomputer, now taken down, recently offered a peek at mobile phones Lumia 950 and 950 XL, according to a report from Game Spot. The report, revealed the prices of both versions, €659 for the 950 and €749 for the 950 XL. This puts the phones squarely in the same price point as iPhone 6S, a risk that pits the high-end models against each other.

Another mobile phone from the Microsoft Lumia collection makes its way to the news as a report from WM Power User revealed leaked photos of the Lumia 550. The 4.7-inch phone offers an impressive 720×1080 pixels of resolution and 8GB of internal storage. It's also available in different colors: red, black, white and blue.

Also, part of the October presentation of Microsoft's latest products is the latest wearable fitness tracker from the company. Spanish website Microsoft Insider reported the upgraded band is dubbed "Envoy," according to Game Spot. Not only has the aesthetic of the wearable been updated to look much sleeker, the handy tracker is designed to measure both activity and altitude.

A recent patent that Microsoft filed with the World International Patent Organization suggests that the company could be planning to up the gaming-related capabilities of upcoming wearables, according to a report from Trusted Reviews.

A snippet from the patent information read, "Gameplay is enabled (or unlocked) through the use of physical character toys which are placed on a custom base connected to a games console. By placing different toys on the custom base, different gameplay is enabled."

At the forefront is the much-anticipated Surface Pro 4, which has been getting a ton of hype due to the success of its predecessors. The line of phablets was declared a billion-dollar business earlier this year, indicating massive potential in the company's hardware production, a report from CNET said.

According to a report from Android Origin, the Intel's Skylake processor is one of the cornerstones of Microsoft's latest Surface Pro with the new hardware providing amped up performance. Other rumored features include more storage space and better display.

Microsoft's much-anticipated event will be held at the Skylight at Moynihan Station in New York City on Oct. 6.
