William Levy Instagram Updates: Actor Thanks Fans, Encourages Latino Support
William Levy shared his appreciation on Instagram Monday for the support his fans have shown him after he revealed that he was cast in the film "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter."
The actor made the revelation on Instagram on Sept. 20 with an image of his costume while on the set of the upcoming film, after teasing his fans with a secret project for a few days.
"I chose this photo that was done by one of you guys with the purpose of showing you guys how thankful I am for every single one of you. The name that you see on that picture became known not just because of my efforts and dedication," the actor wrote in a post, explaining that he wanted to thank his fans for their love after he received positive feedback about being cast in the final installment of the "Resident Evil" saga.
The post, however, was not only about this one film, but also about the support he has gotten on other projects throughout his career, which include films like "The Single Moms Club" and "Addicted," telenovelas like "Cuidado con el ángel" and "La Tempestad," and his stint on "Dancing with the Stars."
"I feel really lucky to receive love from not only the Latinos but from so many of you from around the world that take the time to write me a message," the actor continued.
Levy made sure to make his comments about more than just his career. He also discussed his appreciation for Latinos coming together to support other Latinos in the U.S. during a time when a lot of criticism is being directed at the community. The Cuban star explained that supporting one another only helps open doors and leads to better things.
"Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will be released early 2017 and, according to Deadline, also stars Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Iain Glen, Shawn Roberts, Ruby Rose, and Eoin Macken. The film will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.
