Fans have wondered why Robert Pattinson, 29, and FKA twigs have not announced a date, location or any details about their upcoming wedding. There are rumors circulating that the couple is not getting along well, while others report that Pattinson's family is the reason for the delay.

According to what an inside source told OK! Magazine on Monday, the "Twilight" actor's family wants the wedding called off.

The source claims that Pattinson's family is relieved by reports "that things aren't going well" between FKA twigs and the actor. His family resides in London and reportedly prefers he find a more conservative love interest.

"Rob's family are very polite to twigs' face, but they're horrified by her raunchy on-stage persona and her piercings and tattoos," the source said. "They'd prefer to see him with some conservative posh British woman."

Twigs accompanied Pattinson to visit his family in London last December for the holidays. OK! Magazine reports sources said the singer had a pleasant meeting with his relatives, though there was speculation his family received her out of good manners, not genuine acceptance.

People magazine reported in April that there has been tension between his family and future bride in planning the wedding

Pattinson's parents, Richard and Clare Pattinson, "would really like a church wedding," a source close to the actor told People. "Twigs wants something quite informal, like a pub wedding."

Currently, the "Glass & Patron" singer doesn't want to make waves. She has reportedly agreed to take the wedding "off the agenda" for now.

"She feels it's best to just bow out of the situation gracefully," the insider told Ok!

Pattinson proposed marriage to the 27-year-old singer-songwriter in April.

Meanwhile, People reports Pattinson has wrapped up filming the movie "Life" in which he plays photographer Dennis Stock who befriended 1950s rising Hollywood star James Dean.
