Ariana Grande is spilling the details surrounding her breakup with Big Sean, admitting it "wasn't too hard."

The 22-year-old "Problem" singer delved into the particulars of her breakup with the rapper while being interviewed by her "Scream Queens" director Ryan Murphy for V Magazine.

"You know, people found out quite a while after it actually happened," Grande said.

"By the time I was writing the new album, I had kind of moved on. It's not going to be captured on the album too much. I'm in a happy place. There aren't any breakup anthems because I had moved on. I was like, alright. Well, f*ck it."

When asked if she has any breakup advice for her fans going through recent splits, Grande tells it like it is.

"I'm not going to pretend I have great breakup advice. It's hard. Good luck. You'll be fine. You don't need anyone. It's nice to have someone that makes you happy, but it's nice to be happy on your own as well," Grande said.

The singer began dating 27-year-old rapper in October 2014 and split up about eight months later.

"They both deeply care for each other and remain close friends," reps told Us Magazine at the time of the breakup. "We kindly ask that the media respect their wish for privacy regarding this personal matter at this time."

Grande stars on the new Fox show "Scream Queens," which also features Lea Michele, Emma Roberts, Nick Jonas, Abigail Breslin and Jamie Lee Curtis. The series follows the lives of a group of sorority girls as a mystery killer, wearing a red costume, lurks in the shadows around campus. "Scream Queens," created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, premiered on Fox on Tuesday, Sept. 22.
