Coinciding with Hispanic heritage month, cable giant Comcast has brought back its on demand Xfinity Free View Latino programming, with all-access passes for customers for two weeks.

The on demand package went live at the beginning of the week on Sept. 21, and runs through Oct. 4. It's free for all Comcast Xfinity customers, and available across platforms, including through the traditional Xfinity On Demand route, on the web at Xfinity.com/Latino, and on the multi-OS Xfinity TV Go app.

This is the third year Comcast has run the program, and the offerings and access continues to expand. This year the cable giant announced Xfinity Free View Latino would include more than 5,000 programs and movies totaling over 3,500 hours worth of Latino content to view for free. It's more than you can actually watch in the span of two weeks, and Comcast says it's the biggest selection Free View Latino has ever offered.

Xfinity Free View Latino includes programs in both Spanish and English, as the company is joining other entertainment companies, like DISH Network's Sling Latino, in the hunt for the acculturated bilingual Latino audience, which continues to grow in size and purchasing power.

"Xfinity is the best place to consume your favorite Spanish or English language entertainment on demand across devices, at home or on the go. With Xfinity Free View Latino, our customers have the opportunity to enjoy the most anticipated series before they air on TV and also discover the great selection of on demand programming," said Javier Garcia, VP and general manager of multicultural services at Comcast, in the company's release (via Yahoo).

"In addition, with the recent announcement of the X1 Spanish Guide, Spanish-speaking X1 customers will have the option to discover all the great Free View Latino content in the language of their choice."

The early access highlights in Xfinity Free View Latino include the first three episodes of Telemundo's show based on the life of Latino superstar Celia Cruz, Celia, as well as the first episode of comedian Gabriel Iglesias's new series "Fluffy Breaks Even" -- all before the episodes air on TV. Among the complete series on offer is El Rey's "From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series" and NBC Universo's celebrity reality show "Larrymania."
