The Bangerz Tour continues to roll through the country as the young singer twerks her way from city to city. However, controversy has been following the former Disney Channel star because of certain aspects of her shows and her behavior. She has dismissed the allegations and continues to behave the same but it could leave a lasting impact on her image.

Cyrus has been recently criticized for her use of little people in her shows. According to the Christian Post, Miley has dismissed the accusation of exploitation. "It's really funny how serious people take it. And they're like, you're racist. And I'm like, 'Really?'" she told Ronan Farrow on his news show. "Literally, we're like a bunch of kids dancing around in, like, bears, but we don't do choreography." She continued to explain how having little people on the show helps them.

"If you met Brittany, she's like one of our amazing little people who is with us," Cyrus told Farrow. "We're all about lifting her up and making her feel so sexy all the time, and having her dance, because she's actually an awesome dancer."

However, a former dancer refutes her defense, stating that she felt exploited for humor. "I had never been in a performance where I was purely meant to be gawked or laughed at. I will never forget that performance because it is what forced me to draw my personal line in the sand," wrote Hollis Jane on her personal blog.

On another note, the singer broke down in tears while singing a ballad during her show at the Staples Center in L.A. She also tweeted, "I don't think people realize how much energy I put into my shows & how much their bad energy brings me down." Yet, the tour has faced criticism from parents due to the sexually explicit aspects of the show.
