With Apple just rounding up the recent release of iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, it's really hard to believe that an iPhone 7 is actually coming, but persistent rumors online suggested that there might be an iPhone 7 coming up if you give credit on the specs circulating online.

According to Phone Arena, the news articles about the iPhone 7 are merely speculations. Still, it is said that the next Apple flagship phone will be fully equipped with a stronger type of material to prevent the unit from bending, avoiding past issues of the iPhone line wherein the handsets were actually bendable.

Xiaomi Today reports that the rumored iPhone 7 will have a dual SIM feature that may prove to be very practical if indeed true. That being said, a dual SIM is nothing common to the Apple line and should its production pushes through, the iPhone 7 will have a very limited number of units.

With the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus coming in with waterproof specs, the rumored iPhone 7 is also expected to carry the same feature with a probability of taking in a new IP specification for longer water resistance.

According to Apple Insider, the slightly implied but already produced iPhone 7 is designed to have a more rugged feature despite simultaneously getting rid of its metallic design.

Water-tight gaskets are also mentioned when it comes to the supposed iPhone 7 structure. This design has been largely influenced by the Apple Watch, which was considerably designed to be waterproof.

In another reveal by the Apple Insider, the iPhone 7 may include hydrophobic coatings that will essentially protect sensitive wirings inside as well as vapor indication should the handset falls in water. Silicone seals will also have the power to make sure that water-prone parts are protected and sealed.

As mentioned, Apple has just finished launching their iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus handsets, and while the iPhone 7 made its appearance online, it's hard to tell if any of its rumored specs are true. Apple has yet to give an official statement about the rumored handset as well as the date of its release.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus already made their way to consumers via Verizon, AT&T and Apple Stores last Sept. 25. Prices will range from $199 for the iPhone 6s and $299 for the iPhone 6s Plus with the Apple company also offering their latest lease program feature to consumers.
