Australian Model Claims She Was Drugged at Justin Bieber Party
An Australian model has reportedly accused Justin Bieber and company of drugging her at a party.
According to Hollywood Life, Bieber invited 18-year old Bailey Scarlett to a gathering at his recording studio in Melbourne, Australia, where the model says she began to feel "numb, incoherent and unsafe" after having a drink.
Scarlett wrote a lengthy narrative of the frightening experience on Facebook, but the post was soon privatized for legal purposes. However, a Twitter user was able to take a screenshot of the post.
Scarlett alleges that Bieber requested several "hot" girls be invited to his studio. She arrived with a number of other models working under the same promoter.
After being introduced to the pop star, Scarlett was encouraged to help herself to some lemonade and vodka. After a couple of drinks and a shot, Scarlett began to feel "overly drunk and not right at all," experiencing numbness and blurred vision.
Bieber reportedly then attempted to calm Scarlett, who was in tears at this point. He suggested she was having a panic attack, but soon became irritated, and accused the model of faking and suffering from "Bieber fever."
Eventually, Scarlett's boyfriend Tekauri Hurst came to pick her up, after the model had been relegated to the bathroom and then told to "fuck off and get out."
Melbourne law enforcement told TMZ that they responded to the incident, and encouraged Scarlett to report it. Scarlett said she attempted to get tested at two separate hospitals, but was turned away after being told that this was a common occurrence with girls who attended celebrity gatherings.
Studio owner Jimi Wyatt told TMZ he reviewed footage of the night and saw no evidence that anyone had tampered with Scarlett's cup. The event organizer, Alex McDonnell, supported Bieber's claim that the girl was having a panic attack.
