‘Blue Bloods’ Spoilers Season 6, Episode 2: Serial Killers and Politics [Watch]
The Season 6 premiere of "Blue Bloods" brought the series full circle when the chaos began, but it is Episode 2 that will bring the crime drama back to its domestic roots.
Episode 2 is titled "Absolute Power" and is scheduled to air on broadcast network CBS this Friday, Oct. 2 at 10 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.
Apparently, following the chaotic start to the season with commissioner Reagan taking on the terrorist threat, the most likely change in pace for the city is for Danny and Baez to be assigned to a domestic threat. That threat is of course no ordinary case but rather that of a serial killer who has taken a liking to Danny for some reason.
Spoilers Guide reports the case of serial killer is assigned to the detectives and the unidentified perpetrator has sent a specific message directly to Danny himself. How he links to Danny and of what his end game is composed play to a bone-chilling theme for the episode that may not end well and may also have lasting repercussions for the entire season.
Suffice it to say Danny is up to the task, and if his character's past is any indicator, then he will approach it with a selfless attitude and hunt the killer down by any means necessary to save lives.
Frank also sees himself in a bind when politics becomes his main aggressor for the episode. A mayoral candidate targets Frank for certain political maneuvering on the campaign trail. She claims that he has been secretly investigating her husband, which could lead to more headlines for the candidate, but more headaches for the commissioner.
Erin is also seen weighing her options in the political field, possibly vying for an option to apply for a judgeship. Of course, this could drastically turn the direction of her life, considering she will be just another Reagan in a position of power. This could also be seen as a familial dynasty in the city, which could lead to bad feelings from other players in the game.
See the preview below for Episode 2.
