Scarlett Johansson is pregnant and expecting her first child with fiancé Romain Dauriac, according to People Magazine on Monday.

Sources close to the Johansson say that the actress is roughly five-months along, reports TMZ. The 29-year-old actress was engaged just six months ago to her journalist boyfriend after the pair became public with their relationship in November 2012. Although the couple has announced their plans to get married, Johansson is not in a rush to walk down the aisle.

During an interview with People Magazine, the "Her" star said: "I'm very happy," Johansson announced in January. "He's my buddy. Being engaged is an exciting time to enjoy and to really savor."

Since news of her engagement broke, the Black Widow of the "Avengers" series has been spotted wearing her vintage Art Deco ring; but she shares with "Good Morning America", "I'm not doing any wedding planning."

While this will be her first child, Scarlette was previously married to fellow actor Ryan Reynolds with whom she's been divorced with since 2010, after 3 years of marriage. Reynolds has since married another Hollywood actress, Blake Lively, in September 2012, recalls USA Today.

Fans maybe asking, who is Dauriac? He is a French journalist who manages a creative agency. The couple likes their privacy as the journalist hasn't been very active in social media, similar to Johansson. The two apparently met through a mutual friend Fuzi, a tattoo artist who has done some art work on Johansson, said USA Today in a separate report.

According to Daily News, aside from the wedding and the baby on the way, Johansson also has plans to jump start a directing career. Back in January, the actress told Contact Music that she had acquired some screenplays in the hopes of testing out her mettle behind the camera. "I'm at a point in my life where I'm sure of my choices and I'm interested in so many things," Johansson said.
