Jessica Biel has teamed up with her friend, Saundra Pelletier, CEO of WomanCare Global, to encourage women to learn and talk about what happens to their bodies. Both women spoke about their efforts to help educate women with ABC News' Amy Robach on "Good Morning America," according to People.

"I mean that's really how we want to speak about this issue and share this issue with everyone. Because we want to take it out of the shadows," Biel said.

"We don't want women's reproductive health issues to be hidden under stigma or taboos anymore. And how best to reach all demographics. Can we please laugh about this crazy stuff that happens to us?"

The health care nonprofit and actress have launched a video series, "If You Don't Tell Them, Then Who Will?" published on the humorous website Funny or Die. Biel, who produced the videos starring comedians Whitney Cummings and Joy Bryant along with herself, bring up common misconceptions about a variety of female topics, such as menstruation, birth control, safe sex and STDS.

The three comical PSAs streaming on the site right now all start with "Jessical Biel, Whitney Cummings And Joy Brant . . ." and are followed by either "IUDs," "The Pill" or "Condoms."

Biel was inspired to start the project after she became pregnant and realized she knew less about how her body worked than she thought. After talking with other woman she realized she was not the only one with a lack of knowledge when it came to these issues.

"Vaginas are powerful and it's time we talk about them," Biel said.

"Lack of education and social stigmas have led to confusion and uncertainty about contraception and reproductive health. As a result, millions of women each year are making uninformed decisions about their own bodies,"

Biel is a mother to 5-month-old Silas Randall, who she had with her husband Justin Timberlake.

WomanCare Global distributes reproductive products to women in need in more than 100 countries.
