HTC has already announced that there will be a special unveiling even of the all-new HTC One 2 (M8) on March 25, 2014, stating the "best will get better".

According to DL, three and a half weeks before the scheduled launch in New York City, a YouTube video of a 12-minute long review of the AT&T model has surfaced.

The video shows a comparison between the alleged actual HTC One 2 (codename M8) as compared to the older HTC One version. The video is very amateur, if it can be called that and only gives viewers a peek of the device appearance and design without much substantive review. The young individual behind the camera doesn't go into much detail but interested persons can have a quick look at the device before official release.

As expected, HTC didn't take to this video lightly with HTC's Online Communications Manager Jeff Gordon tweeting the responsible person saying: "It's going to be a bad week for you, my friend." This was followed by another message from Gordon, "We'll be in touch."

Although it hasn't been confirmed, with HTC getting a hold of the device's IMEI number, it's been found that the phone was given by his parents, who have since been fired from HTC due to the leak.

For those who are interested, you can take a look at the video here:

With reference to the leaked photo by @evleaks' twitter account, the device's appearance is very similar to the previous model but more rounded and possibly sports a dual back camera along with a dual-LED flash. The front boasts of twin BoomSound speakers, a front facing camera and an undetermined sensor next to it. Some experts assume this may be for the proximity and ambient light sensor or something completely different. , but could also be for something else entirely. With a slimmer screen bezel, the command keys appear to be integrated to the display changing the look and functionality of the phone.
