Activision has released a new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops III that looks like it could be the teaser to some new Michael Bay movie.

The trailer has a lone shooter bemoaning all that has gone wrong in a world where human augmentation has gone out of control.

It pretty much looks like the end of the world as we know it: cars are burning, flags are waving; storms abound and displaced citizens are under what looks like some hardcore martial law.

The kicker is that all this chaos seems to be man-made.

The narrator says, "We wanted a perfect future, and f--k, we got it."

"I wanted to be a killing machine and they made me one," adds the remorseful soldier fighting for his humanity while wrestling with his cybernetic state. “My brothers have gone dark,” says the cigar smoking killing machine, "but nobody knows just how far.”

With a black crow flying across a screen and interiors that look like they have been cut right out of a “Terminator” flick, the whole planet has obviously caught up with those far-gone brothers. “I’ve got to chase the chaos as far as it goes,” says the narrator, who sounds an awful lot like Kevin Conroy of “Batman: The Animated Series” fame.

“I can feel it taking over. Not even my mind is safe,” he says.

Activision has revealed to Game Informer that Christopher Meloni of “Law & Order: SVU” and “Man of Steel” is playing the villain in the new Black Ops III. Meloni’s character, who looks like he has made up his mind about a few things, says to some soldiers that have come up against him, “You don’t understand. I’m taking us home.”

Black Ops III launches will be released Nov. 6.
