Donald Trump brewed up a brawl anew, and this time, the business magnate is not against co-candidates Jeb Bush and Carly Fiorina nor any of the FOX News anchors - it's him against Forbes magazine.

The annual Forbes 400 released Tuesday, that tallied up the most affluent Americans, ranked the Republican presidential nominee at a pathetic 121st spot and this has made Trump unhappy.

In an interview with CNBC, Trump expressed his dismay, saying that the magazine was wrong with its estimates. Contrary to what Forbes has estimated, $4.5 billion, the business mogul claims that he is valued double at $10 billion. If Trump has indeed the amount he claims, it would place him 74 notches further up.

"I'm a private company... They don't know some assets that I have that I do have," said Trump in the interview.

Although he said himself that he likes the Forbes people, he insisted that they do not know his assets very well.

"They don't give you any value for brand, and my brand is very valuable," Trump added.

Trump also claims that he has $793 million cash and cash equivalents but the Forbes list leveled it down low to only $327 million.

"They're wrong," Trump told CNBC. "I have a lot of cash. I have hundreds of millions of dollars of cash."

"It's very simple. If I call five guys about Trump Tower , [and tell them] I want $2 billion... I'd have checks on my desk in 10 minutes," Forbes quotes Trump.

This is not the first time Trump has seen Forbes to be problematic when it comes to assessing his personal assets.

Buzzfeed reports that Trump and Forbes first sparked a clash in 1990 after the magazine downplayed his rank to 19th when he believed he should be placed higher. At the time, Forbes' estimate of Trump's wealth is only $1.7 billion. However, Trump argued that he is worth $3.7 billion.

The presidential nominee's value for this year is critical for his political career, says Forbes in a report.

"I'm running for President," says Trump according to Forbes. "I'm worth much more than you have me down [for]. I don't look good, to be honest. I mean, I look better if I'm worth $10 billion than if I'm worth $4 billion."

But Forbes said that with over 80 sources that analyzed each of the billionaire's fortune, the magazine is firm in its the stand - still $4.5 billion and will remain at 121st spot.
