There is a new love flame burning up in the Kardashian household and it involves the sole Kardashian boy, Robert, paired up with "Same Old Love" singer Selena Gomez. Any guesses who the wing woman is? No other than the matriarch, Kris Jenner.

Looks like Robert, the most private one in the Kardashian clan, is soon to make another debut on public anytime soon following his massive weight loss and Hollywood Life reports that the 28-year-old may soon be seen together with Selena. Why? Reports say that Rob has been eyeing the singer since she is his "dream girl".

A source told OK! Magazine that Rob has a huge crush on the brunette beauty and ever since Kris knew his boy has been swoon over the 23-year-old, Kris has been plotting them together non-stop.

Good thing for Rob, Mama Jenner is close friends with Selena so getting close to her prospect girl will be no problem at all.

Selena and Kris have been working together recently for a project soon to be launched (Kris is the executive producer) and Hollywood Life also reports that Kris has stood up mother-like for Selena during her heart-broken moments with singer Justin Bieber.  

But of course, Kris will always be the same old strategically-minded Kris. Another reason why the Kardashian matriarch has been match-making her son to Selena is because she believes the singer's popularity and vast media influence can help Rob in his return to the spotlight. Talk about a witty mama!

"Jenner thinks Gomez's massive social media following is an additional incentive to get the two together," the source told OK! Magazine.

So, Rob has confessed his love interest for the girl. Wonder how she reacted?

A source also told Hollywood Life that she is willing to give a chance to Rob and hang out with him sometime. Why not? It has been a long time since Selena and the Biebs parted ways.

The source, however, added that it will strictly be just a friendly hang out.

"She knows Rob but they are not starting to talk or discussing anything about becoming an item," the source said. "She would definitely hang out with him especially if it made Kris happy since she is friendly with Kris [Jenner] but it would be friendship only."

Hollywood Life says that while Selena has finally gotten over Justin Bieber despite being rumored to be together again earlier this year, the girl has been really cautious when it comes to relationships.
