"Sleepy Hollow" Season 3 is set to kick off tonight on Fox and the cast had a few things to say about what fans can expect this year.

According to TV Guide, the season will kick off tonight with Episode 1 titled "I, Witness" and will air on the broadcast network at 9 p.m. EDT.

What we know for sure is that the new season may cancel all the good last season did for the two main characters, Ichabod Crane and Abbie Mills. The discovery of a new tablet means their previous assumptions about the fight against evil being over could indeed be wrong.

Not only will they be confronted with evil this season, but they will also have new forces to deal with that could put them right back at square one and essentially reboot the show's theme.

That is because the legend of Sleep Hollow plays masterfully with its main villain, which was the Headless Horseman. Now that the duo have disposed of that evil from the past, there is nothing else for them to do but start fighting a new evil entity that will in some way give them a new purpose for the show.

But the season is ripe for the series, which typically plays off the themes of Halloween as its main theme for the storylines.

The horror and evil is not the only theme that will be present this year as the two main stars, Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie, gave fans a quick rundown of what to expect for the season, which includes the return of some ex-lovers for both characters. And for Ichabod, the said ex-lover may be over two centuries old.
