Sir Elton John is one of the lucky few to have heard bits and pieces of Lady Gaga's new album, and he assures fans that the offering is worth the wait.

The "Tiny Dancer" singer updated all of Mother Monster's fans on her new album, after he played her song "Bad Romance" during his stop at "Rocket Hour" on Beats 1, according to Digital Spy.

"She's in the throes of writing her new album. I've heard some of it and it's absolutely fabulous," John said. "She's been doing really different things. She did 'The Sound of Music' on the Oscars, she did a tour with Tony Bennett and now she's in 'American Horror Story.'"

About a month ago, the 29-year-old singer herself released an update on the album, posting a photo on Instagram that confirmed she was in the studio working with longtime producer RedOne. A caption went along with the photo, which read, "We wear our sunglasses at night #LG5."

In addition, Gaga also posted a muted video of an unidentified person playing guitar, and a photo of green sound waves with no caption or explanation.

The "Just Dance" singer has recently been named 2015's Billboard Woman of the Year as well. She will be honored at this year's "Women in Music" event, which will be held Dec. 11 at Cipriani Midtown in New York. The special is scheduled to air on Lifetime on Dec. 18.

"Lady Gaga is an extraordinary artist, emblematic of the strength, courage and fortitude that Lifetime celebrates, and we are thrilled to offer our platform to recognize her in every way she deserves," says Liz Gateley, executive vice president and head of programming at Lifetime.

Gaga's upcoming release will be the follow-up to 2013's "ARTPOP," which produced the singles "Applause," "Do What U Want" and "G.U.Y." It also follows her 2014 collaboration album with Tony Bennett "Cheek to Cheek."
