Former Los Angeles Lakers player Jordan Farmar has officially unloaded his Tarzana Property.

Farmar, who was last seen in the NBA playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, sold the California estate for $2.8M, Los Angeles Times reported. Although it was far from its original listing price of $3.5 million, which the 28-year-old basketball player asked in June, per a separate Times report, Farmar will still get nearly $1 million in profit. The Los Angeles-born athlete reportedly bought the Tarzana home for only $1.87 million in 2011. The former NBA point guard was represented by real estate agents and brothers Josh and Matthew Altman of Douglas Elliman in the sale while Sue Bromiley of Coldwell Banker served as the buyer's agent.

The 7,500-square-foot property, resting on more than a one-half acre lot, features a basketball court, which actually measures one-fifth of that living space already. The Spanish-inspired retreat house also displays five bedrooms, including a master suite with a large soaking tub and a spa-like shower. The abode also comes with a formal living room, seven fireplaces, a lounge with a bar, two wine cellars, a climate-controlled dog house, five and three-quarters bathrooms and a family room with a home theater, a projection screen and an entertainment room.

Photos of the home also reveal grand dining areas and a spacious kitchen that is equipped with a center island and modern stainless steel appliances.

The interiors are highlighted with beamed ceilings, darkwood flooring, a staircase designed with wrought iron accents, elegant hanging lights and large glass panels.

Outdoors, there is a saltwater pool to entice the next owners of the lovely home for a relaxing swim. The new residents may also just stroll in the carefully manicured lawn dotted with mature palm trees and colorful flowering plants.

Still a basketball star

Farmar entered the NBA in 2006 via the Los Angeles Lakers and played for the team for four consecutive seasons, per Basketball Reference. He reportedly then transferred to the New Jersey Nets and stayed with them for two years. After a year off, he went back to the Lakers and had a brief stint with the Clippers. In January, the Clippers waived him after 36 games, NBA.com noted.

He is now part of Israel's Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball team, JPost.com announced in July.

"I'm very excited, happy to have received this opportunity and ready for the big challenge. I can't wait for the moment that I return to the place which is like a home to me - the State of Israel, the city of Tel Aviv and Maccabi," Farmar said upon being accepted by the team.
