The United Kingdom government is using Minecraft as a recruiting tool to lure cybersecurity talent.

According to The Next Web TV News, the United Kingdom and Cybersecurity Challenge U.K. launched a new 3D game video game platform that will also serve as a recruiting tool for potential talent.

The Cabinet Office, which helped funded the project, asks anyone who is interested to participate in the game by cracking codes and completing security-related challenges.

As players navigate their way toward higher levels, they have the option of creating a digital resume. The resume will go directly to the Cybersecurity Challenge.

With this game, Cybersecurity U.K. is hoping more people will be working for the cybersecurity industry. Recently, the cybersecurity industry has had a shortage of young people working in the industry.

For the foreseeable future, the game is only available in the United Kingdom. The challenge is also available in Internet browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Apple Safari. It is not known if the game will be coming to the United States or other parts of the world.

On the heels of this news, the trailer for Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 1 has been released. From the makers of The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, Episode 1 is titled "The Order Of The Stone."
