Jennifer Lopez will be joining the already star-studded list of performers scheduled to take the stage at this year's Megaton concert on Oct. 28.

The SBS Network will be hosting the annual Megaton Mundial de Polito Vega in Madison Square Garden in New York, reported Billboard.

The concert usually consists of tropical and urban musical acts, so Lopez's addition is a surprise, but not necessarily odd considering that it is a Latin music concert.

Urban music stars set to perform include Pitbull, Tego Calderon, Vico C, Cuban duo Gente de Zona and Puerto Rican rapper Ivy Queen. Salsa performers for the concert include Luis Enrique, Hector Tricoche, Pirulo y la Tribu, Tony Vega and Nino Segarra.

Representing merengue music are Elvis Crespo, Grupo Manía and La Dinastía Rosario, while bachata music will be represented by El Torito, Bachata Heightz and Jay Ruiz.

Lopez is currently preparing to take the stage night after night for hundreds of fans when she begins her Las Vegas residency in January 2016.

The singer told Entertainment Tonight that she has been preparing for her Vegas residency her whole life and hopes that it is a representation of who she is as an artist.

"It's gonna have everything that I've been known to do over the years, and it's gonna be a beautiful, glamorous kind of Vegas show," she said. "Something that I think people, whether you're a fan of my music or not, would come and see and really enjoy. That's my goal."

The 46-year-old star recently gave a hint of what's to come in her Las Vegas residency when she performed at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas on Sept. 19.

The star put on quite a show with a revealing leotard and a typical J. Lo dance routine. During her set, the star announced that the official name of her Las Vegas residency was "All I Have," a reference to the popular hit featuring LL Cool J that she released in 2002.
