The highly anticipated return of cable's No. 1 series "The Walking Dead" is poised to begin with utter horror.

The first episode, titled "First Time Again," will air on broadcast network AMC next Sunday, Oct. 11 at 9 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.

The way Season 5 left off last year, there is no doubt that the turmoil left in Alexandria will start having some major fallout.

According to Spoilers Guide, Rick Grimes and his band of fearless warriors will have to take a step back and ease their way into a society that has been largely sheltered and visibly naïve to the necessities of survival in the Walker apocalypse.

One thing that the group has learned in their harrowing travels is that they cannot trust anyone but family, which is what they are to each other. They have hardened to the point of zero-tolerance for the weak. But if they want to live in Alexandria amongst the people who never lost civilization, they will have to be able to ease their firm grip.

That being said, the assimilation will be predictably painful for them and the original people of the community. Both sides will have to give, but Rick's crew has already expressed a willingness to takeover if they can't agree.

The threats from both Walkers and people have been a theme for the past several seasons now, but the odds are stacking up against them once again. New arrivals will threaten them with their own groups and the Walker herds are about to come crashing down on them as well.

Rick and his crew will eventually have to decide whether or not they are willing to protect the people of Alexandria or let nature takes its course on them, should they have to risk their own lives in the process.
