Season 10 of the highly popular CW show "Supernatural" has been dragging its heels getting to Netflix, but it will finally drop on the streaming platform on Wednesday.

According to Netflix Life, the streaming buffet will debut Season 10 on the same day that Season 11 of the show debuts on The CW network. This simultaneous release has a tendency to agitate fans of the show, as anyone who did not catch all the episodes of Season 10 when they first aired will not have a chance to catch up before tuning in for Season 11.

Season 10 of the popular show left off with a rather harrowing scene, wrapping up the storyline for the season but leaving its own ominous cliffhanger. The two protagonists, Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) and Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki), will have a serious enemy to contend with when the show picks up in Season 11.

This new enemy is nothing like what fans have ever seen. Its pre-biblical origin means that it is not just the Winchesters' enemy, but the enemy of all things that relate to organized religion, including demons, witches, vampires and all the other big-bads the Winchester duo have fought over the past decade.

This unique plot twist has generated quite a bit of interest for the Season 11 premiere, as fans have speculated that both sides of the "good vs. evil" fight will have to team up to defeat the ultimate big-bad.
