Wednesday’s chance to make big money playing Powerball is here. The grand prize is currently at $50 million, with a cash value of $32 million.

Last Saturday’s winning numbers were 6, 26, 33, 44, 46 and 4. There were 399,884 regular winners, and $5,603,757 in non-jackpot money was won.

There are actually nine ways to play Powerball. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 293 million. The odds of simply doubling your money on a $2 ticket are 1 in 38.

On Tuesday, a Michigan woman named Julie Leach came forward to claim a $310.5 million Powerball prize. The 50-year-old winner decided to take her money in a lump sum of $197.4 million in cash.

As CNN reports, the new millionaire joked that she was going to have her longtime partner now sign a prenup. More seriously, she plans on using her new wealth to take care of her children and family, saying, "We used to say if we ever won the lottery, we wanted to buy a whole bunch of land and build all of our kids a home and basically have our own little community."

Leach described her experience purchasing the Powerball ticket and discovering she had won as a scene right out of a movie.

"I worked a [night] shift and at about 6:30 at night I stopped to get my coffee and bought $20 worth of lottery tickets," she said.

After a hard night supervising at a fiberglass factory, she said she checked her ticket while on her lunch break at McDonald's and was in shock.

"I had to go back to work and get verified from a couple other coworkers and just couldn't believe it," said Leach, who quit her job as soon as she knew she had won.
