It's not long before Marvel's "Jessica Jones" makes her debut. But before Netflix's newest super-detective steals hearts onscreen, fans can take a peek at her adventures with a free comic release that even gets a taste of a fellow Marvel favorite.

Dubbed "Jessica Jones #1," this new 12-page book introduces Jessica Jones to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as a private investigator. While Jones' expansive complicated background wasn't explored in this exclusive preview, the story lets fans dive straight into the raven-haired hero's storyline.

She discovers about Daredevil's existence when she comes across a petty criminal, who encountered the "devil in Hell's Kitchen," a hint that the two would perhaps find themselves sharing the same screen sometime in their Netflix futures. The short comic also gave a glimpse of the titular character's sleuthing skills and wit.

"Jessica Jones #1" is available at Comixology and the Marvel official comic store.

According to a report from The Verge, the story was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, who were both part of the celebrated "Alias" series that featured Jessica Jones from 2001 to 2004.

In a Tumblr post, Bendis said that the short comic "celebrates the new show and the connective tissue that will build between the series."

While "Jessica Jones" and "Daredevil" will certainly be connected and share certain qualities as part of the same universe, showrunner Melissa Rosenberg previously said that fans shouldn't expect the two to be the same shows with different characters.

"The mythology of the universe is connected, but they look very different," she said during the Television Critics Association press tour, according to Hollywood Reporter. "Tonally, they're very different. They're wildly different."

Rosenberg also discussed the trailblazing comic book that she has adapted into a series, saying, "He [Bendis] created this incredibly flawed, damaged, interesting character. Regardless of gender, it was the character that drew me."

Aside from the latest comic, Marvel and Netflix let the world preview the feisty detective's new show with a series of short teasers including "Good Morning," "Nightcap" and "Evening Stroll." While each only lasted for less than a minute, the trailers offered a first look at the heroine using her powers such as her superhuman strength and flight.

Krysten Ritter will play the titular character with a slew of stars behind her including Mike Colter as Luke Cage or Power Man, Rachael Taylor as Trish "Patsy Walker," Carrie-Anne Moss as Harper and David Tennant as Kilgrave or Purple Man.

"Jessica Jones" will premiere on Netflix on Nov. 20.
