Who knew playing video games could be so rewarding?

According to NBA 2K Sports on Twitter, a new contest by Virgin Gaming is offering a chance to win an NBA 2K14 bundle for PlayStation 4 as well as a paid trip to New York City where you could play for the chance to see the NBA Finals.

"Opt in to the King of the Court leaderboards, and play in the NBA 2K14 lobbies during the leaderboard qualifier period to win your way into the online bracket semi-finals," Virgin Gaming says at its website for the competition. "The final 2 players will win an NBA 2K14 PS4 bundle and an all-expense paid trip to New York to compete live from the MLG studios for the $5,000 grand prize and a trip for 2 to see an NBA Finals game."

In other news, gamers are still waiting for some locker codes but one thing to be excited about is that the rosters for NBA 2K14 were updated earlier in the week to include "Parker/Aldridge injury return, Crawford/Wallace/Olynyk injuries, Granger/Butler signings & more," Ronnie 2K said. As far as the next locker codes, Ronnie 2K has not provided any updates ever since the codes he mentioned as recently as March 3.

There has not been any update about new mods ever since the Space Jam mod hit the scene just a few weeks ago, sparking rumors about a potential Space Jam 2 film that has not been confirmed.
