It could be that in the near future we'll be seeing Cady Heron return to the big screen. Talk has been circulating about a reunion of the cast of the early 2000s most popular movie, Mean Girls. At the center of the rumors is the movie's main actor, Lindsay Lohan.

While on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the Mean Girls actor talked about the possibility of a reunion, according to the Daily Mail. During the show, she told Fallon how the idea came about. She had seen Tina Fey, the movie's screenwriter, backstage during Fallon's inaugural show and the two got talking. She mentioned doing a sort of reunion. The Mail also adds that some of the original stars of the show have already agreed to take part in the reunion like Amy Poehler, Jonathan Bennett, Rajiv Surendra, and Daniel Franzese. There are no reports on whether the rest of the Plastics will be in the reunion.

Lohan was on the Tonight Show to promote her new docu-series, which was done with Oprah's OWN, according to the Los Angeles Times. The star, who has recently finished a stint in rehab, discussed the series called "Lindsay" with Fallon and credited the show with helping her get back on her feet after the court-mandated rehab from July 2013.

The show, full of drama, is a stylized series in the form of a documentary. Lohan explained, "It's very clear, it's a television show, they want ratings. Obviously, that's what needs to happen." The show follows Lohan's struggles after finishing rehab and moving back to New York.

"They picked like the first two months when I got back to New York after being in treatment. I got very spiritual in the past year, and I was trying to find serenity and peace in my life, and, of course, they take, like, the chaos of me moving eight years of my life back to New York," she added.

She told Fallon that during the process of the series she grew closer with Winfrey and has restarted her acting career.
