An update is an essential part of every video game, and "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" is expecting its largest patch ever, the 1.10 update.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, the new patch, which consists of over 600 fixes, has immensely tackled almost every part of the game. This is not bad news; however, with a great fix comes a great need for mass storage to contain the update's contents. The update will require consoles such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One to have a staggering 15GB storage and a variation of 6GB to 15GB for its PC version.

On "The Witcher 3's" forum, Martin Momot of CD Projekt Red said, "It's the largest collection of fixes, improvements and various enhancements we've brought to 'The Witcher 3.'"

CD Projekt Red has also made a list of the different changes made for the game including its audio, DLC, gameplay, performance, stability, visuals and quests. "The Witcher 3's" updated also tackles more conversation with key characters. The patch may look long and endless, but players will hardly notice these few changes except those that affects the players' routine.

The forum pretty much gave an idea of what to expect with the new patch. Momot added, "All told, it packs a pretty impressive six hundred changes, including fixes for a load of quests, optimizations that will make things smoother on PC and consoles, over one hundred stability improvements to iron out hiccups and a major and much-awaited fix that should take a good bit of the pain out of dealing with the items in the Inventory."

Take note that according to GameSpot, the new patch still doesn't cover everything that needs to be fixed within the game. When asked when the update is coming, Momot answered, "It is right around the corner and in a matter of days."

For the gameplay itself, fixes on stamina regeneration, incorrect weight calculation in the inventory and crafting of diagrams in the merchant inventory are just a few of the recently updated features of the game.

For the audio issues, there will be additional music after the horse race in the quest titled "Ciri's Story: The Race." The DLC version will also fix the issue of new games not starting correctly from saved files. The full list of the fixes for Patch 1.10 can also be found here.
