Even though fans of "Supernatural" were expecting a monster slaying duo back on the same page this season, there is always going to be the exceptions. Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) will find this out real quick with the next episode.

Episode 2 is titled "Form and Void" and will air on broadcast network the CW next Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 9 p.m. EDT, according to TV Guide.

Now that Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sammy have officially conquered blood-thirsty zombie-like creatures, the duo will be back in action to make sense of what they unleashed last season. But that is not to say the episode is going to be exclusively dominated by the season long storyline of the Darkness.

According to Spoilers Guide, there is no real help coming for Sammy anytime soon when Dean leaves him to take Jenna (Laci J. Mailey), the nurse he met after the Darkness, back home and tend to her safety.

Why would Sammy need help from his brother, you might ask? Well as it turns out, the storyline of turning people into dangerous monsters is not over. The problem was of course solved in the last episode, but now Sammy is in a town that has been infected by a mysterious gas that has unleashed its fury on the unsuspecting population.

But the fury is not all about killing them but rather converting them into deadly monsters. Of course Dean will be back in the beginning, but Sammy tells him he can handle the situation and sends Dean away to help Jenna, who has fallen into dangerous hands for some reason.

That was of course Sammy's first mistake because now he is in over his head and the town has eyes for him and every other living person in the vicinity.
