Watching your family and loved ones battle addiction is heartbreaking, watching celebrities struggle with it is not fun either, but we want to see their struggles.

Lindsay Lohan, the former starlet, is giving the TV audience a glimpse into her very public battle with addiction and its demons, the drugs and the people on the new reality show/"Docu-Series" titled Lindsay, on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). Lindsay airs March 9 at 9 p.m.

Lohan has been infamously known as a party girl, and difficult to work with, Oprah got a taste of this behavior first hand. The New York Daily News reported, based on the exclusive clip that aired this week, Oprah was not pleased by Lohan's actions on the show.

"You need to cut the bull s*** out," Oprah said sternly, "You really do."

You have perhaps really hit rock bottom when you antagonize Oprah. This is just one of the highlights of the reality show. The series asserts that this a journey through Lohan's recovery.

Cameras follow Lohan as she goes to meetings, dodges paparazzi, and spends time with her family, her mother Dina Lohan, and argues with her dad, Michael Lohan.

"For a long time you weren't good for me," Lindsay tells her father. Before Lindsay's reality show, some fans witnessed how Lindsay was emotionally manipulated and abused by both her parents.

In the past, Dina was seen taking Lindsay to clubs and drinking alcohol, while Lindsay was still under-age. During those times, Dina asserted that if your child begs and begs you when they want to do something, how can you say no?

A writer and blogger from MoviePilot, does not hold back when it comes to blaming Dina for Lindsay's public crisis. They, MoviePilot, call her a "queen pimp;" and they bring up "Living Lohan," which was a reality show about Dina and Lindsay's younger siblings. Lindsay was not in the series. MoviePilot is a blog that discusses and reports on entertainment news related to film, TV, and pop-culture.

Some people feel that Lindsay's family were the main culprits in her addiction, while that may be true, Lindsay knows that this is her last shot. It is a lot of pressure; the series states that it offers an unflinching look into the life of the world's most sought-after celebrities.

CBS News reports that the series takes place in New York after Lohan left rehab last year. As Oprah witnessed, Lohan became difficult to work with by not following agreed-upon timelines, and backing out of scheduled filming.

Lohan professes in the clip that she wants to get her life and career, acting, back on track. But she has doubts in herself; Lohan says she feels like a prisoner.

The new reality series could help her in her career, or it could contribute to her going back into rehab. At any rate, Lohan will have to take responsibility for her actions.
