Bobbi Kristina Brown Death News Update: Nick Gordon Accused of Giving Whitney Houston's Daughter 'Toxic Mixture'
Bobbi Kristina Brown died "due to a violent altercation" with boyfriend Nick Gordon during which time he also allegedly injected her with a "toxic mixture."
That is one of the assertions made in new court documents filed by the conservator of her estate Bedelia Hargrove. RadarOnline reports the newly released court filing also outlines how Gordon allegedly placed the only daughter born to Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown face down in a bathtub of water after injecting her.
The amended lawsuit seeks some $10 million in damages from Gordon and also accuses him of regularly physically abusing and stealing from his 22-year-old girlfriend during the time they were together.
Bobbi Kristina died under hospice care in late July, nearly six months after she was rushed to a hospital emergency room and soon after placed in a medically induced coma.
While she was under a physician's care, Gordon was prohibited from visiting his girlfriend by her family and was also banned from attending formal services for her. Bobbi Kristina has since been buried alongside her mother at a New Jersey cemetery.
Meanwhile, attorneys for Gordon have denied all the allegations, including that he served her the lethal cocktail that essentially rendered her defenseless.
"The recent lawsuit against Nick is slanderous and meritless," said lead attorney Jose Baez. Since then, his legal team has filed a stay of motion with the intent of ending of the civil case against amid news Georgia authorities had convened a grand jury and were also contemplating filing criminal charges against him.
"Any statements made by Mr. Gordon in the civil case may incriminate Mr. Gordon in a criminal investigation," the filing contends, adding that since a judge has sealed the cause of Bobbi Kristina's death, he's "precluded and denied the use of exculpatory evidence."
Lawyers for Gordon also insist the fame of Bobbi Kristina's parents make it difficult to insure their client will be treated fairly throughout any parallel proceedings.
