‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 6 Episode 4 Spoilers: Adam Gets Kidnapped, Forced to Torture Another Captive [Watch]
The next episode of "Hawaii Five-0" will deepen one of the many subplots for season 6 of the show, when Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) gets kidnapped and is forced to torture a fellow captive.
Episode 4 will air Friday and is titled "Ka Papahana Holo Pono," which translates to "Best Laid Plans."
The show has been keeping up with standalone stories for each episode. But the season's subplots with Adam, Kono (Grace Park), Steve (Alex O'Loughlin), Catherine (Michelle Borth), Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) and Gabe (Christopher Sean) all run parallel to the various cases the unit tackles each week.
Friday's episode will start out with case of the week, when a wealthy man, who also happens to be a recluse, is discovered dead in a remote field, according to Spoilers Guide.
There are several clues the Five-0 unit can work from, but the most valuable and puzzling is the fact that the man was found with a bag full of money. However, the $1 million in the bag turns out to be worthless in the eyes of the law, after its found to be counterfeit.
This, of course, makes the squad wonder if the man was truly wealthy or just pretending with his fake money. Yet an even larger question remains: Who would kill him to get the fake money?
The season subplot also thickens, when Adam is kidnapped by the Yakuza, who are out for revenge for the killing of their men. Adam and Kono tried to tell the gang that Gabe was behind the murders, but the Yakuza is after the two heroes until they can prove their claim.
To bring matters to a head, the ruthless gang also kidnapped one of Gabe's men, and they force Adam against his will to torture the man until he confesses.
Episode 4 will air on broadcast network CBS this Friday, Oct. 16 at 9 p.m. ET, according to TV Guide.
