"The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition," available for PS4 console, is firmly set for an early next year arrival with new features and graphics. The official release date for the 3D action role-playing game is slated for March 1, 2016.

According to a post on US PlayStation Blog by Jordan Vincent, a Marketing Coordinator for NIS America, Inc., the Revival Edition "will come jam-packed with new features, shiny new graphics, and of course, the adorable little demon warrior whose name is bound to confuse you at least once, Hundred Knight, all for just $39.99."

According to Siliconera, the upcoming PS4 "Revival" version of the game will feature a new playable character. "In the original game, people were limited to controlling the Hundred Knight," the post read.

However, "The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition" will bring in Metallia the Swamp Witch who can be used in the Tower of Illusion, another new feature to find in the action game. Jordan Vincent further noted that Metallia is equipped with awesome magic skills such as to "call down lightning, create a vortex to draw in enemies or summon a massive sword to slice and dice her way through the Tower of Illusion."

Gamers excited for "The Witch and the Hundred Knight: Revival Edition" will also get upgraded graphics come its official release date. According to the official NIS America Online Store, "all the intricate details that went unseen on PlayStation®3 surge to life on PlayStation®4."

Moreover, there was also an upgrade in the game's framerate, from the original version's 30 FPS to 60 FPS. This will allow the Hundred Knight fans to experience "seamless" and "fluid motion" while they play the game.

"Fed up with being unable to travel beyond the borders of her swamp, the witch Metallia forges a contract with the legendary Hundred Knight to help her realize her ambition of spreading her swamp throughout all of Medea," the game's storyline read. "As the Hundred Knight, your mission is to do whatever your master, the Swamp Witch, commands."

"Explore the world, destroy Pillars built to prevent her swamp from spreading, and wreak indiscriminate havoc," it continued. "However, in the back of your inhuman mind, you begin to wonder... What prevents Metallia from leaving the swamp? Why do the other witches shun her, and how can she survive in a swamp that is notorious for how poisonous its fumes are? Is Metallia really a witch to respect, or is she one to fear?" it added.
