The new patch for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" has finally arrived and it costs $10 to have it on your chosen platform.

According to GameSpot, the new expansion is named "Hearts of Stone." However, for those who want to get "The Witcher 3" DLC pass, they need to spend $25. The DLC pass includes the "Hearts of Stone" and the game's next expansion titled "Blood and Wine."

CD Projekt Red confirmed that "Hearts of Stone" will take up around 10 hours of playtime. However, it may cost you more time on the said expansion, depending on how you actually play the game.

Despite creating the expansion "Hearts of Stone" for level 30 players, CD Projekt Red made it available for everyone who wishes to play the game.

GameSpot also published their review of the expansion and highly rated the game at 9/10. Gamespot lauded how "Hearts of Stone" seamlessly incorporated the story's emotional rendering, including the fairytale romance it portrayed.

They also commented, "Hearts of Stone feels just as much a part of the narrative as any of the main game's quest lines, but stands on its own as a memorable adventure. It may have its negative moments and the pacing may be broken at certain intervals, but The Witcher 3's first paid expansion is well worth the return to the Northern Kingdom."

With "Hearts of Stone" clearly impressing gamers, "The Witcher 3's" next expansion, titled "Blood and Wine," is preparing its way to its final release.

According to another report from GameSpot, the said expansion was initially scheduled to be released in the first quarter of 2016. However, a separate announcement implied that the release may be pushed at a later date. If "Blood and Wine" was initially expected between January to March, fans may need to wait a little longer until June for the expansion's launch.

The "Blood and Wine" expansion is expected to tackle more of "The Witcher 3" series as it is expected to have 20 hours of game time compared to "Hearts of Stone," which only requires around 10 hours.

CD Projekt Red has not hinted on a specific date on when will the next expansion be available. Until then, fans can either finish the "Hearts of Stone" challenges or get "The Witcher 3" DLC pass, including the current expansion and the soon-to-be-released expansion, "Blood and Wine," for $25.
