This year's most anticipated fashion show event has booked three of the biggest icons in the music industry, with one of them being a veteran after she had "Phresh Out The Runway" in 2012.

According to Vogue, lined up to perform on December 8 were Grammy award nominee The Weekend, "Good For You" singer Selena Gomez and the hit maker diva Rihanna as the beautiful Victoria's Secret angels rampage the line's latest lingerie and sleepwear.

Premiere angels to lead the bevy of models are the Victoria's Secret mainstays like Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Behati Prinsloo, Candice Swanepoel and Lily Aldridge, who, after years of strutting their stuff on the runway, still rock the stage with their enviable hot bods. These models are true definition of aging gracefully like a fine wine!

The fashion show is also anticipated to bring more surprises and one of them might be the debut of the Hadid sisters, Gigi and Bella, who have been reported to join the squad of angels for the first time. Some even hoped that RiRi, who have killed the runway during her 2012 gig as she sang, will also get to sport the angel wings.

Should the Hadid sisters make a walk for this year's fashion extravaganza, it's expected that the younger Hadid, Bella, will be serenaded by her beau, The Weeknd, just like how Adam Levine and Seal sang in the catwalk for their then-partners, Anne Vyalitsyna and Heidi Klum.

A report by E! Online says that this year's fashion show will also make way for 10 new angels, jumping from five to 15, although some familiar faces will not be seen for this year like Doutzen Kroes and Karlie Kloss. The angels who are to get their set of wings are Elsa Hosk, Jac Jagaciak, Jasmine Tookes, Kate Grigorieva, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell, Taylor Hill, Lais Ribeiro and Rachel Hilbert.

Last year, music icons who have joined the angels in the runway include Arianna Grande, who looked definitely cute and sultry in her feline-inspired ensemble as she sang a medley of her several hits like "Love Me Harder", "Bang Bang" and "Break Free". British crooner Hozier was also there last year to serenade the lovely models with his song "Take Me To Church." Of course, Taylor Swift was also there as she sang for the models while her gal pals like Karlie Kloss, Martha Hunt and Lily Aldridge rampaged along the catwalk. Tay-tay's guy friend, Ed Sheeran, was also present last year as he sang for the models with his hit, "Thinking Out Loud."

In May, People reported that the angels are back to NYC for this year after flying to London last year.

"New York City was the site of the first ever Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 1995, and holds a special place in our history and our hearts," CEO Sharon Jester Turney told People. "For this year's show, our twentieth, we're returning to where it all began."

With the fashion show entering its second decade, it is expected that this year's gig will top the previous shows.
