Adam Levine's new do just cannot be ignored as it debuted on TV while he did his job on "The Voice." Of all the hair revamp that the 36-year-old hitmaker thought of having, the Maroon 5 frontman had his head full of hair shaved.

While the "Moves Like Jagger" singer has still pulled off his sexy manliness with his new hairdo or should we say, non-hairdo it's hard to see that his beautiful face was stripped off with one of the familiar parts and it felt a bit awkward.

According to ET Online, even his fellow "Voice" coach Blake Shelton just cannot help but notice, and, worse, make fun of the sexy singer. Hence, this inspired a lot of memes that surfaced on the web.

At one point, Shelton even said that Levine resembled some fiction and non-fiction characters like the Indian peace leader Gandhi, Austin Powers' antagonist Dr. Evil and DC Comics antagonist Lex Luthor.

Shelton poking fun at Behati Prinsloo's husband has invited internet users to join the bandwagon and find people who looked a lot like the egg-head Levine. The tweets have gone bonkers and hilarious!

One Twitter user posted a photo of the bald Levine looking quite serious side-by-side a Minion's former antagonist, Gru, and the resemblance just cannot be denied.

Others thought that Levine looked a lot now like the then-bald Britney Spears when she was getting over her wild days in rehab.

Meanwhile, there are a lot of Twitter users who felt that Levine's luscious locks were put into waste and hoped that his "real hair" will be back anytime soon.

"it's a sad day in America #AdamsBald," one Twitter user that goes by the handle @nicole_taher said.

Others were rather happy with the singer's choice and made the situation a little bit tolerable to handle.

"@blakeshelton If you rub Adams head you'll probably get 100 years of good luck, I think you should try it... #AdamsBald #TheVoice," a Twitter user under the username @sweetstarrbelle said.

In defense of his lack of hair, Levine took it to Twitter and made a clarification that he and Lex Luthor are different.

"Excuse me. Lex Luthor was bald. I have 'shaved' my head. Meaning, shaved by choice. Big difference. Ok?!! Ok?!!," the singer said.

Hollywood Life reports that this was not the first time that the "Sugar" singer has sported a shaved head. In July, it was reported that Levine posted a photo of him and his Victoria's Secret angel wife, saying "She's into me ... I think!"
