Austin Mahone took to social media on Saturday to show support for ex-girlfriend Becky G, prompting a very flirty response from the Mexican-American singer.

Since their split, the two singers have constantly generated speculation about whether they are back together, and their latest Twitter exchange is no exception.

Mahone used Twitter to show some love for his ex-girlfriend's new music video. "If you ain't watching @iambeckyg new video for #BreakASweat then what are you doing??" the star tweeted.

The tweet prompted a response from the "Break A Sweat" singer. The 18-year-old thanked Mahone and called him a "cutie."

On Thurday, Oct. 8, the Latina similarly showed her support for her Mahone's new single "Put It On Me" on Twitter.

Up until October, most of Becky G's social media posts simply raised speculation, but she never addressed Mahone directly.

On Sept. 18, the singer posted a message about love and heartbreak, which got fans talking because it seemed like a message to Mahone.

"You want to come in my life, the door is open. You want to get out of my life, the door is open. Just one request. Don't stand at the door, you're blocking the traffic," the message read.

After their split in August, the two teenagers spent time apart. They weren't photographed together again until Sept. 23, when a mutual friend shared an image of both Mahone and Becky G on Instagram. This caused many fans and various media outlets to suggest that they were once again an item.

The image shows the two singers hanging out backstage with a few friends during one of her shows on the "La Familia" tour with reggaeton star J Balvin, reported J-14.
